Hand-cut paper illustrations created for Brad Cecil & Associates’ 20th anniversary calendar. Paper was chosen as the medium because of the company’s focus on direct mail for the past two decades.

This bakery concept is influenced by the Greco-Roman mythology’s timelessness to convey an semi-upscale bakery identity. The face of the brand is Ceres, Greek goddess of Agriculture, because of her motherly and nurturing qualities which are expressed by the earthy tones and natural materials used.

Embrace the wild side but stand firm for what you strongly believe. The “puppy” symbolizes fresh intrigue, curiosity, and playfulness. The “barker” indicates passion, willingness to stand-up and speak out, as well as the need to display or announce oneself. MungMungi (멍멍이) is a symbol of pride and of potential and enticing possibilities waiting to be activated.
The icon represents the mythological creature called Haetae (해태) which is known for its righteousness. It is a very revered figure in Korean history who actively opposes corruption no matter what status of the wrong-doer.

This website is devoted to documenting the history of the iconic Futuro House, a portable ski condo designed by Matti Suuronen in 1968. The website aims to celebrate and inform people about this not-so-well known piece of retro architecture. This concept for The Futuro House website presents a modern experience of this structure. It reflects the design of the home, time period, and how it would be perceived now.
DOOMED QUEENS – BOOK DESIGN
Book redesign concept for Doomed Queens by Kris Waldherr. The goal was to refresh the artwork and emphasize the contrast between life and death by using a limited color palette and simplified illustrations.
